In 2014, Louisiana schools saw a 1.1% overall increase of high school students graduate. For the fourth year in a row, the state saw an improvement in graduation rates, including a 2014 improvement for minorities and students with disabilities. As Education Week reports, “[i]n 2014, 74.6 percent of students graduated on time, up 1.1 percent from a year before. Nationally, about 80 percent of students graduated in four years.”
