Ken Kalcevich is the Vice President of State Assessment Solutions at Questar Assessment, Inc. He is responsible for working with state departments of education nationwide to provide custom solutions for assessment programs and to build relationships to effectively position Questar to maintain and expand state assessment contracts. With more than 20 years of experience in business development for student assessment companies, Mr. Kalcevich has extensive experience building strong client relationships and helping businesses to grow.
Previously, Mr. Kalcevich served as Regional Vice President of State Services at Pearson, where he was responsible for managing business development and custom contract delivery in as many as 25 states. Prior to that, Mr. Kalcevich held the position of Vice President, National Sales Manager at Riverside Publishing, where he managed and directed Riverside’s national sales staff. He also served in numerous sales and sales management positions at CTB/McGraw-Hill, where he was responsible for working with state departments of education, large school districts and small school districts to design, implement, and upgrade assessment programs. At the beginning of his career Mr. Kalcevich served as a teacher and program specialist over a 10-year period. During that time he worked at the elementary, junior high, high school, adult education and university levels, as well as in district office positions. He earned his B.A and M.A. degrees along with three teaching credentials from California State University, Fullerton.
