Mr. Vail is the Chief Financial Officer for Questar Assessment, Inc. He has a 30 year diverse background in finance, both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining Questar, Mr. Vail held a number of senior management roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Controllerships and Consulting in publicly traded and privately held organizations.
In 1998, as CFO, he led a very successful IPO for US LEC Corp, a telecommunications company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.
He has consulted with a number of multi-national companies in the areas of Sarbanes-Oxley, business valuations and venture capital based capitalizations. He also has extensive experience working with organizations in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia.
Previously, Mr. Vail served as an Adjunct Professor in Accounting at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant.
