Questar Assessment, Inc.

Andy Simon is the Chairman and a founder of Questar Assessment, Inc.  He has been instrumental in building the company into a K-12 assessment organization.

Mr. Simon initially served as the Chief Financial Officer from the company's inception in 1976 until being elected a Director and President in 1995 and subsequently assuming the Chief Executive Officer position.  He continued in the dual roles of CEO and CFO until mid-2006.  With the acquisition of Questar Educations Systems in 2006, he served as CEO and President and recently assumed the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Earlier in his career, he ran two divisions in the Bankers Trust Private Clients Group and built the electronic banking unit for Citibank.
Subsequent to his positions in financial services, he ran portions of the proprietary/consumer products group for Lederle Laboratories, Revlon Health Care group (Norcliff-Thayer) and L'Oreal.

Mr. Simon earned a Master's of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University.

He has served on the Alumni Board of Governors for Washington University, as a trustee for the City of Poughkeepsie Partnership, The Harvey School, The Graduate School of Education at George Washington University and currently serves as a member of the Hudson Valley Trust.
