Paid Time Off
Questar observes 12 national holidays. In addition, employees receive annual sick and floating days along with a competitive vacation policy.
Health Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance. We offer three different plans to meet the needs of individuals and their families, all of which include a vision plan and an Employee Assistance Plan. Employees and Questar share the cost of monthly premiums.
Dental Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for dental insurance. Questar pays for the full premium for single coverage while employees share the cost of family coverage.
Cafeteria Plans
Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Questar’s Flexible Medical and Flexible Dependent Care Spending Accounts. These accounts allow employees to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for medical and/or dental expenses not covered or paid by insurance and dependent daycare expenses.
Short- and Long-term Disability
Questar pays for short- and long-term disability premiums for all eligible employees. If you are unable to work due to an approved disability, employees receive 60% of their salary with certain limits.
Group Term Life Insurance and Voluntary Life Insurance
Questar provides all eligible employees with a term life insurance policy equal to two (2) times their annual salary (capped at $400,000) at no cost to the employee.
In addition, eligible employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance for themselves up to $500,000*, for their spouses up to $250,000* and for their dependent children up to $10,000.
Retirement Benefits
All employees of Questar who meet eligibility requirements may participate in the 401(k) plan.
