Senior Psychometrician
Dr. Mark Connally is a Senior Psychometrician at Questar Assessment, Inc. He is responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing statistical and psychometric analyses for Questar’s educational assessment projects.
Mr. Connally has extensive experience conducting psychometric and statistical analyses for state departments of education and brings a wealth of large-scale assessment experience to Questar’s Research and Psychometric team, especially in the area of the Rasch model.
Previously, Dr. Connally served as a Psychometrician at Measurement Incorporated where he was responsible for conducting psychometric and statistical analysis, equating, and scaling for educational assessment development and scoring projects. Previously, Dr. Connally held the position of Senior Statistician and Psychometrician for the Chauncey Group International, a subsidiary of Educational Testing Service, where he was responsible for analyzing item responses for licensing and certification examinations. He also served in numerous consulting and instructor positions for the University of Georgia.
Dr. Connally earned his Bachelor of Science and M.A.M.S. degree in Statistics from the University of Georgia. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Statistics and Measurement from the University of Georgia.
